BIO:
The Lanskies are the latest rock sensation from France. Having already won the prestigious award
to support ZZ top, (yeah that ZZ top) in front of thousands at the Vielles Charrues festival in 2008
things have gone kind of well for them since.
Named after a film starring French icon, Johnny Hallyday, the Lanskies have created their own genre
of music, le “Hot Wave”, a sleazy upbeat mix of post-punk anthems combined with the witty
French azur of 80's NewYork.
The Lanskies who hail from Berlin and Caen respectively can rightfully boast to having the last
remaining behemoth of frontmen with Liverpool born, Lewis Evans, whose pounding stage-
presence can only be described as that of epic awesomeness.
Having toured most of Europe, and with a successful tour of China behind them, the Lanskies have
now set their sights on a cross-country tour of the U.S.A.
Their album “Bank Holiday” released on Indelible Records is a single making machine, each song is
an ode to love, happiness, and the good times.
One thing that will not do when you hear the Lanskies is forget them.
There new EP Romeo is out in october it will caress and sting you with their kick ass four
songs, Romeo, Porno, reach out and realise.
These four songs are an hommage to the new Paris-Liverpool rock scene whose rock Leaders are
named The Lanskies.
