BIO:
Once upon a time, in a magical land not so far away called Little Falls, NJ, a musical sensation by the name of Antony Bitar was born. Antony was born into a family that constantly celebrated music. Whether it be singing at church services led by his father, a priest, or belting out tunes around the house with his 3 older sisters, Antony Bitar was submerged in soulful sounds from the beginning. It was clear from an early age that he was destined for a career in music...not including the 4 minutes of his life where Antony almost convinced himself he wanted to be a lawyer, of course.

Antony Bitar attended college at Montclair State University, where he was a student at The Cali School of Music. Initially, Bitar had aspirations of becoming a music teacher and began his studies as a Music Education major. However, he quickly rediscovered his love of performing and switched gears to obtain a Music Performance degree to study opera where he could have the opportunity to showcase his powerful and innate vocal talent. Of course, as reigns true with most college students, before Antony even finished his degree he knew that the subject of his academic pursuit would not fulfill him for the rest of his life. Hence, as soon as Antony graduated he retreated back to the place where he knew he could channel his greatest passion: songwriting.

A self-taught pianist, Antony Bitar had been writing songs ever since he was a teenager. Upon graduating college, Antony decided to collect some of the songs that he had written over the years and embark on the incredible journey of recording an album. After collaborating with producers, Eshy Gazit and Jason Cummings, Antony Bitar released his debut self-titled full length album on September 13, 2011.

Antony's sound could be described as a male Sara Bareillis, think: Gavin Degraw meets Ryan Tedder. With undeniable talents both vocally and musically, it was no surprise that he has made several cameos on Bravo TV's "Real Housewives of New Jersey", where Antony is shown working with cast member and fellow northern New Jersey resident, Melissa Gorga, to write her current hit single "On Display". Besides submerging himself in his music and making the occasional appearance on top-rated reality tv shows, Antony Bitar is a foodie and "fashionisto" who is known for his appetite for fine food and fresh style. .
